Ensure avocado is ripe (soft to the touch); if avocado is too firm, ripen faster by placing in a paper bag, 1-2 days; dice avocado
Microwave beans in a covered, microwave-safe bowl 1 min (or warm in skillet 1-2 min)
In a small bowl, whisk lime juice, 2 tsp oil + salt/pep
Chop lettuce + add to a large bowl; add beans, avocado, chopped scallions + lime dressing; toss to combine + divide to plates
