    About the opportunity

    We’re looking for a highly motivated problem solver who loves working with people and who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service. This is an exciting role for someone who wants to get in at the ground floor of a rapidly growing start-up and help shape and oversee the customer service experience. You’ll be the leader of the customer experience team, responsible for working with the VP of Marketing to establish the systems and processes to support the team’s scale and company’s growth. You will also be responsible for managing day-to-day interactions with the customer to ensure that we’re solving problems efficiently and systematically. You’ll help hire, train, and manage other customer service agents.

    You’ve established a track record as a dedicated and positive team player and leader, have a passion for health, wellness and craveable food, and you’re ready for your next challenge.

    Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    • Build protocols, processes, and best practices to support a best-in-class customer experience team
    • Deliver above-and-beyond customer service via phone, email, social media channels (where relevant), and live chat
    • Build out systems to support robust reporting of data and feedback from the customer
    • Become an expert on Hungryroot and spread the love of Hungryroot to everyone
    • In addition to day-to-day customer interactions, you will be instrumental in strategizing ways to improve our service, streamline our processes, and better serve our customers
    • Interact with all areas of the business to ensure that customer feedback is reported back to the various functions
    • Identify customer trends in real time and communicate feedback and reporting to other departments

    Requirements

    • 3+ years in a customer experience related position at an e-commerce company; 1+ years experience managing a customer service team; startup experience a plus
    • You thrive in a fast-paced environment
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills – you love speaking with customers and are comfortable doing so via email, phone, and chat
    • Passionate about understanding customer issues and making things right
    • Highly detail oriented and organized with the ability to multi-task
    • Mature, thoughtful, and supportive manager who can effectively motivate a team
    • “No task is too small” attitude
    • Analytical and comfortable with excel and reporting
    • Ability to problem solve and think on your feet
    • Bachelors Degree required

    We’re looking for a dynamic, organized and detail-oriented Executive Assistant to support our Senior team. You are a problem-solver at heart with a professional yet approachable communication style and a keen ability to thrive in a fast paced environment with constantly evolving priorities. Anticipating the needs of your team, you resolve operational and administrative issues before they arise. You are comfortable organizing information and you never let anything slip through the cracks. You’ve established a track record as a dedicated and positive team player, with a passion for health, wellness and craveable food, and you’re ready for your next challenge.

    Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    • Assist cross-functionally with bookkeeping, reporting, benefits, certain legal functions and day-to-day operations
    • Oversee compliance with all human resources related matters
    • Manage accounts and expenses and process payments
    • Manage electronic and physical files and documents
    • Manage external requests on behalf of the team
    • Ensure office supplies and equipment are kept in stock
    • Organize team events
    • Assist with ad-hoc projects, depending on the needs of the team

    Requirements

    • 4+ years experience in office and administrative support, or related experience
    • You thrive in a fast-paced environment
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
