Description

Any kitchen pantry could use extra red onion. These alliums bring the flavor wherever they go—chop it raw to add zing into a salad, or sauté over heat until they're soft, sweet, and even more flavorful.

Instructions

Peel and thinly slice onion, discarding root end. Heat 2 tsp oil in a skillet over medium. Add onion and sauté for 8-10 minutes until browned. Add 2 tbsp water, cover skillet, and cook for 3-5 minutes until softened. Season with salt and pepper.
