Cook time: 13 minutes
Preheat grill to high + oil grates; cut off the stem of 1 onion, discard outer skin, then carefully slice onion into ¼-inch wedges; drizzle with oil + salt/pep; grill 5 min with lid closed, flip + grill 4-6 min until charred + slightly softened
Meanwhile, rub lamb with 1 tbsp oil + salt/pep; grill 3-5 min per side with lid closed, until charred + cooked through
Slice 2 zucchini in half crosswise then slice lengthwise into ½-inch thick slices; toss in 1 tbsp oil, salt/pep + grill 2 min per side with lid closed; add grilled zucchini to a bowl + toss with 6 tbsp pesto
Divide all to plates—nicely done!
