Cook time: 12 minutes
Boil a large pot of salted water, add ½ the pasta + cook 10-12 min or til al dente, then drain + return to pot
Meanwhile, remove sausage from casings + discard casings; heat 1 tsp oil in skillet over high; add sausage to pan, break into large chunks + sear undisturbed 2 min; flip meat + break into small pieces; cook 2-3 min til fully cooked; set aside
Slice asparagus into ½-inch pieces; heat 1 tbsp oil in skillet over med-high, add asparagus + salt/pep; sauté 4-6 min til tender
Zest lemon + slice in half; add sausage, lemon zest, asparagus + salt/pep to pasta; toss to combine + divide to plates; serve pasta with a squeeze of fresh lemon
