Ensure avocados are ripe (soft to the touch); if avocados are too firm, ripen faster by placing in a paper bag, 1-2 days

Heat skillet over medium; add 4 slices of bacon + cook, flipping frequently, until browned + cooked through, 4-6 min; set aside

Heat 1 tbsp oil in a large skillet over high; cook burgers with salt/pep 3 min on one side; flip over, cook 2 min, then add 1 slice of cheese to each burger; cover pan + cook 1-2 more min until cooked through + cheese has melted

Scoop flesh from avocado + add to a blender with mayo packet, lime zest, 1 tbsp lime juice + salt; blend until creamy

Slice 2 buns in half; toast until warm + golden; add burgers + bacon to buns then drizzle with crema
